Dream bag

I am not exactly a bag whore, or brand whore.

But I guess I should very much reward myself when I turn 20 next year, with a proper handbag with my own earnings.

I have been thinking about this for quite a while and it just feel like the right thing to do, although I am really not a person who is into brands and feel good splurging on a costly bag.

Just to make turning 20 more significant, carefully selecting and buying a bag for myself is just something that I really want to do.

Ok so I asked for opinions, my options: YSL, Prada or Loewe. considering as well: Balenciaga, Mulberry, Proenza Schouler PS1

Friends think YSL suits me the most, I am into function and style, anything too pretty is just not me, and quality wise I like good leather, or suede, no patent or other material please.

What weather.

I forgot what are the highlights of the last week, except that it keeps raining, everyday?

Mum says back home it’s freezing cold, ahhh bad weather sucks, no?

So depressing, I’m a sun person.

Thursday was a crazy day.

I did a shoot with Nathelie, a year 3 senior in the dark room studio.

The model arrived late, but he’s super talkative and nice.

When we found out that he walked PRADA for two consecutive season we died lol.

It’s a pretty surreal feeling.

The shoot is my my first men’s shoot, I panicked about getting clothes.

But I managed to borrow Terry (forinsanehuman) pieces, luckily.

So it went well, had a little mad rush in between wrapping up and be on time for the 3pm class.

We showcased our finished full look of our first design project based on the theme travel.

To a panel of ‘judges’ (don’t like them) and lecturers (?%$@^!%).

Hate this sort of ’session’, don’t wanna say what happened or it pisses me off again.

After class we went to Changi to eat Popeyes, ate a lot, then sit around and talked about the ’session’.

Went to watch 2012, at midnight, super nice movie.

I want to watch it again.

Burberry Mummy

The Burberry people invited us for a dinner last night, at PS Cafe at palais renaissance, had a really really great meal, and it’s so nice to chat with them. They also gave each of us a crinkled scarf…

Sorry but I can’t show my fugly face, so drained from school work.

Anyway, my final is finished. The inspiration is gondoliers.

Tomorrow another busy day. A dresser gig in the morning and then shooting in the evening.

Post Parco and Fidelia’s birthday

Zara warehouse sale on Fri, so good.

Grab a jacket, a dress, two tops and a skirt for $90. Nice.

Wore one of the dress to the Parco show.

Show was good, got a front row seat lol.

Gave Zouk a miss and went supper instead @ HK cafe.

Sequin sweat pants

I was gunning for a fashion faux pas moment when I wore this pants from River Island (my first buy from the shop) to school.

I remember walking up the stairs to the classroom… and my very fierce lecturer saw me went ‘oh my god’ and shouted my name.

I don’t know, it is so fun to see people’s reaction when I wear something that so loud and NOT me.

No I’m not alright

Why is there so much work to do recently?

Every Friday is super packed, events and parties.

For this prom season, I have 2 orders so far… I think I will stop at 3. Last year’s 6 dresses totally drove me crazy.

And I have two FYP shoot collaboration requests so far.

Stress much?

Anyway, RTT has finally swapped to a new layout, check it out rockthetrend.com

and then, there are so many things to do with the new site.

 

So much happenings, so little time.

School work and revamping RTT matters are enough to keep me away from thinking about other things.

I am not even near the panicking about what-to-wear stage yet.
